Scenarios

Compliance questions involving public procurement

A client participated in a Mexican tender and now faces questions about transparency or process irregularities.

How we help:
We review tender documentation, public audit reports, and official correspondence to map what happened — using only public, legal sources.

Customs sanction against a Mexican company

A client hears that a Mexican or international company may have been sanctioned by customs authorities, but the details are unclear. They need to confirm whether a sanction actually occurred, when it was issued, and the reason behind it — as well as whether it remains active or was later resolved.

How we help:
We track the sanction through public records, customs bulletins, transparency portals, and related regulatory filings. We identify when the sanction was issued, the legal basis cited, and any subsequent actions (appeals, resolutions, or removals), organizing the documentation into a clear timeline.

Red flags during due diligence

A small inconsistency appears, but the team doesn’t know which Mexican documents exist or how to access them.

How we help:
We identify relevant registries, obtain documents, and explain what they show — without replacing the legal or financial analysis.

Reporting in Mexico

The team needs local research support — document retrieval, interviews, or guidance on where records live.

How we help:
We provide document-based research and, when needed, in-country reporting to strengthen the final story.
